Frequently Asked Questions

If you have a question not answered below send it to us and we will post it.

Q: Do I have to buy the investments listed in the current portfolio?
A: No. It's your choice to buy these investment recommendations or not.  Many subscribers will simply track them.  Others will purchase only a few to augment their existing portfolio.  It's entirely up to you.

Q: If Marketbeaters does not beat the market, how do I get my money back?
A: If the Marketbeaters portfolio does not outperform the S&P 500 Index over the 12 month period following your registration then your entire previous year's worth of subscription fees will be automatically paid out to the subscriber's registered PayPal account.  The same holds true for each following 12 month period.

Q: How do you treat dividends?
A: Dividends are considered to be re-invested for the calculation of performance for both the S&P 500 Index and MarketBeaters portfolio.

Q: Do I have to be a subscriber to join the referral program?
A: Yes. Exceptions are made for financial advisors or similar who can refer large numbers of subscribers however.  Contact us for more details if you have 10 or more potential subscribers.

Q: What is the normal turnover in the portfolio?
A: Usually 1-2 investments per month will change.  It is not uncommon for there to be no changes over the course of several months however.

Q: How long does the subscription last?
A: The subscription lasts until cancelled by the subscriber. The quarterly subscription fee will be auto paid by PayPal every 3 months until cancellation.

Q: How do I cancel my subscription?
A: You may cancel at any time by logging into your PapPal account and cancelling your subscription. Once this is done your account will be deactivated and you will no longer have access to the Member's Area of the web site. Should you decide to cancel it is advised to do so near the end of your quarterly subscription term to maximize value.
